Peggy Gonsoulin Vallejo
Ms. Vallejo grew up in St. Bernard Parish, attended the Academy of Holy Angels High School, Tulane University as an undergraduate, and received her law degree from Tulane Law School
For 20 years prior to going to law school Ms. Vallejo worked in a law firm in St. Tammany Parish as a legal secretary and then as Paralegal Manager. That practice focused on personal injury litigation, successions, family law, mass tort litigation, and many other civil matters.
At 44 years old she decided to take matters into her own hands and go to law school. Ms. Vallejo opened her solo law practice immediately after graduating law school and passing the bar in 1999.
Ms. Vallejo’s practice focuses on Family Law litigation, divorces, spousal support, child custody, child support, community property partitions, as well as personal injury litigation, such as auto and truck accidents, slip and falls, succession litigation, and many other civil law matters.
Ms. Vallejo has been selected as a 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 Top Lawyer in Personal Injury and Family Law by New Orleans Magazine
